A brand and product launch at 100% Design.
Some background
Working with another designer is always a pleasure. Having seen the Citrus Chair evolve from a scale model, through prototyping, and into production has been a real privilege. It was my challenge to create an effective online sales tool to help designer Holly Hughes reach her target audience and begin to take orders at 100% Design.
The brief
To develop a brand identity plus design and manage the build of an e-commerce website in time for a brand and product launch at 100% Design.
The challenge
To incorporate Holly’s design style into an identity that would appeal to both trade and consumer audiences. To deliver an e-commerce website within 5 months.
The solution
Working with Holly we incorporated her design influences of Italian sophistication and Scandinavian practicality into an identity that would appeal to both trade and consumer audiences. After careful consideration, we agreed to separate the website into two, one for trade customers and the other for a consumer audience. This meant there would be no confusion for the two audiences, which has resulted in an effective tailored customer journey and positive growth in sales.
